Successful temporary or permanent exhibit and information displays are the ultimate integration of the wide spectrum of services marquardt+ provides. We approach exhibit and information displays with the same process as any permanent interior or architectural branded environment, working with preferred fabricators or competitive bidding complete designs as one would for permanently built space.

Temporary and adaptable exhibits and information presentations require skills in interior/architectural design, retail/product display, custom detailing and fabrication, brand communication, graphic design, and strategic lighting design.

In order to successfully drive a return on investment, a physical presentation of any commercial product and/or service must communicate and integrate the core intent, whether high level brand awareness or targeted and specific marketing, data, or sales strategies.

As an innovator in branded environments built upon a truly integrated interdisciplinary design process, it is exhibit and information displays that truly represents the marquardt+ approach to our work. Knowledge and experience from this type of work informs every m+ project from corporate interiors to brand and identity strategy development.

Trade Show Engagement Strategy

process

The foundation of our design process is a deep dive into understanding our client’s intent and objectives, which includes their unique business, marketing, sales, and brand strategies as well as desired outcomes.

Once we have a clear understanding of the client’s objectives we develop concepts based on the optimal ways to engage their target audiences thru concentric circles of engagement; from walking by the exhibit to an encounter with specific products or services requiring detailed information or support.

outcomes

Many installations, especially trade show exhibits, look like a variation on the same exhibit system and theme and are made of the same off-the-shelf, stock exhibit systems and materials. The only differentiators from exhibit to exhibit become the individual company logo identities and product/service components themselves.

When exhibits and information displays are designed based on the process we use, they will by nature differentiate themselves from their competition. This includes utilizing unexpected details and materials that elevate the brand experience and keep every detail focused on the intent. One way to do this is to fabricate a display out of the actual products a manufacturer may be presenting, for example!

Custom solutions do not necessarily mean greater expense.  Instead, a custom approach can provide a more strategic focus of where exhibit fabrication dollars are spent, and can maximize the user experience and and intent, thus providing a greater return on investment.
